MARK KELLY ANNOUCEMENT
On Tuesday night our girls’ soccer team advanced to the state finals with a 7-3 victory over Buford. Wednesday night our boys’ soccer team advanced to the state championship game with a 2-0 victory over Oconee.  Our baseball team advanced to the state semi-finals with an 8-1 victory over Pike County the same night. They will play a doubleheader on Monday at Cartersville attempting to advance to the state finals! Also on Monday our boys’ golf team will also play for the state championship! 
FRIDAY (5/17) both of our soccer teams will play for the state championship! The girls’ game is at 5:00pm against Blessed Trinity. The boys will follow at 7:30pm against Woodward. Both games will be at Kennesaw State University.
We know our opponents will have big crowds but there is nothing like the pride and spirit of the Pius nation! We are encouraging all of our students, faculty, alumni, and supporters to wear white to tonight's games.
Two state championship games! One night! It is great to be a Golden Lion! See you at the games!
