The 2012 Trivia Night at SPX was Saturday, January 21. The evening was a HUGE success! Thank you for coming out and supporting our event. We raised over $3,600 for the Alumni Scholarship Fund. Alumni were members of the 1st and 2nd place teams. The evening was a celebration of our entire adult community coming together: alumni, current parents, parents of alumni and friends of SPX.

Paula Thomas Fannon '82
Paula Thomas Fannon '82 has been named President of the SPX Alumni Board for the 2011-2012 school year. Paula is married to fellow alum Mike Fannon '74. They are the proud parents of Danielle '07 and Megan '09. Congratulations Paula!

Drew is currently the Project Architect (with JonesPierce Architects of Atlanta) for the Monastery of the Holy Spirit in Conyers, GA. The public opening was May 8, 2011.

Dexter and Lori Lummus '80 addressed the Class of 2011 on Saturday, May 14th as part of the Graduation Exercises at Atlanta Symphony Hall.

The Class of 1972 is auctioning an antique Kurdish Kilim Silk Rug on eBay. The funds raised will go toward the Lt. Alexander Brooks Montgomery, Jr. Memorial Scholarship Fund.

Bennett has been selected for the Dean William Tate Honor Society at the University of Georgia. Each spring, the Society recognizes the top twelve first-year men and top twelve first-year women at the University, based on their records in scholarship, leadership, and service at the University and in the Athens community.
